FINAS Project Kicks Off:Kick-off meeting held in collaboration with Oslo Orcas IF, Rijeka Sports Association (Croatia), Fizyomer (Poland) within the scope of the EU Erasmus+ sports programme.The first meeting of the FINAS project took place today at COLSIN’s office in Oslo, bringing together representatives from Oslo Orcas IF, the Rijeka Sports Association of Croatia, Fizyomer from Poland, and the EU Erasmus+ sports programme. The project aims to increase revenues for grassroots sports clubs by enhancing the digital fundraising and marketing skills of their staff.
The meeting was organised in the collective.LAB, a collaborative platform aimed at fostering innovation in the sports industry. The FINAS project seeks to address the financial challenges faced by many grassroots sports clubs by using the power of digital tools to increase their fundraising capabilities and expand their reach.During the meeting, participants discussed the project’s work plan and tasks, setting the groundwork for the upcoming activities. A visit to Sagene IF, a local sports club, provided valuable insight into the Norwegian sports system, with Football Coordinator Pak Ling Li delivering a presentation on the club’s operations and structure.The kick-off meeting concluded with a city tour of Holmenkollen and Oslo, offering participants a chance to network and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.The FINAS project, finance by the EU Erasmus+ sports programme, signifies a promising step towards empowering grassroots sports clubs through digital means.
